The world organisation of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) wishes to convey its solidarity with all the municipalities of Argentina during the difficult financial times that the South American country currently faces. The UCLG calls on all spheres of government in Argentina to engage in an inclusive dialogue in the best interest of the people of Argentina.
Furthermore, UCLG calls on all the Argentinian municipal leaders to unite and collaborate in finding solutions to their country’s plight. The UCLG remains committed to supporting the regions and local governments of Argentina in locating the local sphere of government at the centre of a changing world, and in promoting collaborative governance.
