The purpose of the session is to invite a limited number of thinkers and practitioners to join UCLG’s discussions on the Future Urban Agenda.
The outputs of this session will contribute to preparing the advocacy messages of UCLG and the Global Taskforce of Local and Regional Governments in the upcoming appointments of this year, namely: the ECOSOC Integration Segment, the High Level Political Forum and the Habitat III Preparatory Conference, as well as to launch the debate on the Global Agenda for local and regional governments to contribute to the Post-2015 Agenda and Habitat III.
The structure of the meeting is built as an open dialogue. Participants should come ready to practice active listening and to engage in conversation. In order to be productive, the meeting will be facilitated with the dialogue mapping methodology, which dynamically creates a “map” that captures and connects participants’ contributions on a projected screen.
