The Congress of European Municipalities and Regions is the largest and most important gathering of local and regional governments in Europe. It takes place every four years in a CEMR member state.
Convening under the theme, “Local Action. Global Shift. Living the Sustainable Development Goals”, the Congress serves to exchange information and set the agenda for effective collaboration in order to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 (2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development).
The Platforma Awards will take place on 6 May 2020 at the CEMR Congress. The aim of the PLATFORMAwards is to reward excellence in cities and regions’ internal action. This time, the PLATFORMAwards will focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their implementation at the territorial level. Find more information at: http://platformawards.eu/
