The session will focus on the linkages between food systems and climate change - framed within the #CitiesAreListening experiences and is co-organized with the city of Barcelona, World Capital of Sustainable Food in 2021, and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
The dialogue will seek to address how the role of food environments in the post-pandemic age has transformed, what this means for our territories, and the strategies that need to be considered to ensure that our food systems are ones that service our communities and the sustainability of our planet. The outcomes of the session will contribute to the development of the UCLG Pact for the Future.
